For over 3 years, Janavi has been working hands-on on the issue of Child Sexual Abuse at Heal, a project by The Foundation. She specializes in developing program modules, facilitating awareness workshops and trainings on CSA and trauma therapy. She is also adept at working with sexual violence survivors in a therapeutic setting. She has completed her MSc. in Forensic Psychology from Coventry University, UK and Bachelors degree in Psychology from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai. This exposure to the niche field of Forensic psychology empowered her to conduct a number of workshops on the same at esteemed colleges such as St Xaviers, Mumbai. Janavi is extremely passionate about working with children and has a keen interest in creating a safer world for children. Besides children, fields such as application of psychology in the criminal justice system, womens rights, sexuality, and life skills development pique her interest.
