Information Technology, the emerging ladder of development has bridged digital divides leading to Digital Evolution. Technology has touched every corner of our space, our minds; shaping and influencing our lives. Understanding the implications of our online behaviour and striking the right balance between internet enthusiasts and internet alarmists will enable us protect children and prevent crimes. Our well-being in this digital revolution is at stake. Inculcating the ideology of Cyber Wellness seems to be the need of the hour in order to accept technology and use it with pride.


Undeniably, technology is changing our psychology; childhood is certainly more saturated by technology than ever before. Caring for technology dependent children and families in order to encourage E- Readiness and mindful engagement practices by building a Cyber Hygiene Culture to protect children is a dream we aspire to accomplish.


The grand success of the impacts and outcomes of our first conference 2017, stirred the need to do more, we take pride in presenting a stratagem of building collective action and change through the RESPONSIBLE NETISM 2ND NATIONAL CYBER PSYCHOLOGY CONFERENCE 2018 APTLY THEMED BUILDING CYBER HYGIENE CULTURE ON JANUARY 18 AND 19, 2018.


This conference aims at formulating policies of protection prevention and intervention on Cyber Hygiene within educational institutions and build a network of digital guardians and support systems across the state.


This open to all conference shall be graced by esteemed guests and speakers with exciting new facts presented through paper presentations by faculty and students. The conference highlights topics ranging from the advent of technology, child safety policies to building digital guardians in order to formulate policies on protection against online distress. This conference would lay the foundation of initiating collective action on cyber wellness.

This conference is the brainchild of team Responsible Netism of Ahaan Foundation along with experts from the field of Mental Health, Media, Information Technology and Law Enforcement. We are led by eminent members including Psychologist and H.o.D of Psychology SNDT Women’s University Dr. Anuradha Sovani, Social Psychiatrist Dr. Harish Shetty, Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist Dr. Avinash Desousa, Chief Editor of Maharashtra Times Mr. Ashok Panvalkar, our Tech and design Mentors - Mr. Rajiv Vaishnav, Mr. Nishad Ramachandran, Mr. Saurabh Karandikar our legal guardians, renowned Cyber Law expert Adv. Prashant Mali, Adv. Vaishali Bhagwat with an esteemed panel of advisories including Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe - Group Director Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.
Ahaan Foundation is a trust registered focused on mobilizing and empowering people towards self enhancement and positive change through collective action since 2012. Its initiative the movement RESPONSIBLE NETISM is the only non-profit initiative of the state educating children and adults about responsible online behaviour promoting cyber wellness having successfully educated over 8.5 lakh children and adults within over 800 educational institutions.
